Some of you know that my Oncologist sent me for a PET scan because I had abnormal lumps near the area of my previous malignant melanoma. I said I did not care one way or another about the results. If I was going to die, maybe everything that happened in the past year would make sense. Yesterday, my best friend Michelle(who just donated her hair to Locks of Love again) went for a hike with me. Several years ago, her close friend from college died in her 30s. Michelle was there her friend during Hospice and she was there for James and I when he was in Hospice. I looked at her and said, \"It just hit me, I could be told that I am going to die this week. I have no one to take care of me now that James is gone. Would you help me die?\"
She said yes.

PET scan was clear.
