Seven syllables short of a haiku...

For my forthcoming collection of senryu titled "Hak-Ku: Hakim + Haiku =" I began facilitating a three day poetry workshop at New Mexico School for the Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I like to use the Six-Word Memoir prompt (and promptly give credit to the mag and the website) to make introductions engaging and fun. I came up with this while stuck in traffic on the way to the school (I do not recommend writing poetry and driving at the same time...could lead to a "hand" shortage in a time of need, know what I mean?). I thought this Six-Word bio was especially clever (if I can be so obnoxious) because a haiku/senryu is 17 syllables, this Six-Word Memoir is 10 syllables...seven short of a haiku, from a poet who is a few sandwiches short of a picnic, if ya know what I mean? ;) Thanks for posting and reading.
