A few months ago, I told Jen about a scenario I had imagined for a story. It involved a kitchen container and a deadly spider. Just this morning, as she was reaching into the cupboard, she reiterated to me how she wasn't exactly thrilled that I'd shared it with her. I admitted that I think of the very same thing whenever I make her coffee - it's her sweetener container that inspired the scene. I guess if the scenario has stuck with us both so powerfully, I need to get it put down in writing somewhere. I'm thinking short story.
