The funeral was at the beach. The guy who passed away just got married at the beach and now his funeral was at the beach. He was a surfer. In fact, he was surfing when he had an aneurism. The funeral was a the top of a steep cliff going down to the beach. However, many surfers were taking advantage of near 80 degree weather and wanting to hit the waves. The only way down to the water is right where the funeral was held. Nobody seemed bothered that surfers were literally walking through the gathered service donning their wetsuit and surfboards over head. In fact, it seemed so fitting.
