We walked the streets, my son and I. Clothed conservatively, not stoned, recently bathed, we did not blend. We went into a store called Kid Robot. They sell Munny/Dunny vinyl critters. Mostly mass produced, but a show case behind glass showed hand painted originals. I approached the clerk. "What would an artist have to do to get their work in that case?" They'd have to show their work and get approved. So unlike me, I pulled out my phone and showed them some examples of what I had recently produced for a charity that asked me to do work of that kind. Their faces changed from "polite" to "we'd like your work here as soon as possible." I'd like to thank L2L3 for showing me how a lil chutzpah goes a long way. My son was like, "whoa... where did THAT come from?" From L2L3, that's who.
