I am quite often and quite well mocked by my progeny, I assure you! In fact, this came to me as I was inquiring about how to fill out the parent form on the college guidance site at my 17 year old's school as a prerequisite to our audience with the guidance counselor -- at an as yet to be determined time. When I asked him to send me the link he informed that I gotten it (like 1000 times.) As it turned out a search of my email did indeed produce the link, but I had lost the parent credentials (for shame) as my passive aggressive statement about schools relinquishing all communication (and responsibility) to the machine -- aka the on-line grade book. My punishment was to have to call the office for a tutorial. The lovely woman working in the office attempted to guide me through the process with her 'mock' parent account. To which I replied, "I'd like to be a mock parent, how do I get that gig?"
