I had taken half of a cigar out for a walk into my backwoods. Minding my own business I settled down in one of my forest chairs. Twilight approaching, the frogs and crickets were tuning up while most of the birds were clocking out. I heard a distant call that I knew I could imitate, so I did. Not sure who I was imitating but that didn't matter. Several of my best attempts paid off nicely. Little warbler that I can't identify flies into the tree near me and spies me, intensely trying to figure out WTF. He kept tilting his head, twisting to keep me in his sights. Flew off when I got up to leave. Made for a happy goodnight, see you tomorrow.
