I thought, at one point, I'd grow up and all the little girl's sensitivities, fears, hopes, and dreams would fade away and morph into more adult thoughts. While I've gained wisdom, experience, knowledge, maturity, and everything else that comes with being an adult, I'm the same person I was when I was young. Those lessons you learn as a child never fade away. The feelings you had when you were a child never leave you.
