SixContest #50: #SixWordCelebrityCrush
There's no shame swooning over celebrities. While we're sure you could write novels about your top celebrity crush, we want to read your Six-Word Memoirs on what celeb makes you blush. Celebrity status isn't reserved for red carpet starlets and hunks, either. Does the way Neil deGrasse Tyson describe astrophysics send chills up your spine? Have you always had a thing for Van Gogh? Include the name of your crush before you start your six, e.g.: Julia Roberts: "It was love at first slice" (that's from our own Larry Smith) ; this gives you more words to express your love and admiration for Stephen King, Frida Kahlo, or Taylor Swift... whomever it may be. Your Six Words can include a backstory (we love reading them), but please submit only one entry per comment.
Some of our favorite entries will be included in the book, "CRUSH: WRITERS REFLECT ON LOVE, LONGING, AND THE LASTING POWER OF THEIR FIRST CELEBRITY CRUSH" (HarperCollins, 2016), edited by writer and Six-Word contributor Cathy Alter and Dave Singleton.
Remember to tag us and include #SixWordCelebrityCrush when posting your Six Words to Twitter and/or Instagram!

This SixContest runs through Friday, 4/24 until 3:00PM ET. Submit your entries in the comments below or on our social media pages: twitter.com/sixwords (remember to tag @sixwords) | facebook.com/sixwordmemoirs |instagram.com/sixwordselfie | sixwordmemoirs.tumblr.com
