Careers

Join Our Team!

As a Six-Word Memoirs® from SMITH Magazine intern, you’ll have opportunities to be part of a small, smart, and intensely driven team building the world’s largest short-form storytelling community. You need to be sharp, creative, self-motivated, professional, and have a passion for storytelling. The well intentioned but ultimately flaky should not apply. And seriously, do a gut check—we work too hard to have time to reign in unfocused members of our small and intensely driven team.

As part of the internship, you’ll read and potentially curate submissions that come in every day to SIXWORDMEMOIRS.COM and engage with our passionate community of storytellers.
