Bury Me Here In Six Words

No, we aren’t talking about The Walking Dead. And, yes, we know it’s a little bit morbid. And still, we wonder: Where would you want to be buried if you could choose any time or anywhere? That place where most would remember your legacy forever, or where you could preserve your anonymity? For SixContest #129, we want you to write a six-word ending.

Maybe tarot cards have prophesied when you are going to pass on, and where. Would you want to be buried in satin and a bed of roses? How about in your own backyard? You can focus on your ashes, too – where would you want them scattered? Or would you rather have nothing left at all, or, for your organs to be donated. There are no limitations to the dead. We want to hear your tombstone story.

If you'd like to share a backstory (we love reading them!), be sure to submit your entry as a Six and include the link to the Backstory here in the comments below. Share as many stories as you like, but do post only one entry per comment. The prize will be an exclusive Six-Word Memoir’s keychain!

Remember to tag us and include #BuryMeInSix when posting your Six-Words to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!
