Tonight as I was driving home, I saw an almost near collision on a motorcycle. It reminded me of the time, not to long ago, I almost got hit by an oncoming car, while riding my motorscooter... and I was totally the one at fault! I had the green light and was turning left. For whatever reason I assumed that I had the right away, when in fact I was supposed to be the one to yield. I realized at the last nano second that I was pulling into the path of a large SUV, and had I not reacted at that last nano second, I probably wouldn't even be here to write about it. It was that close.
