Return To Your Toddler Years With Sesame Street

Have you ever wondered, “If only I knew then what I know now…?” Here’s your chance to go back to childhood and have a do-over! Get back to the ABC’s with Sesame Street—everyone has a soft spot for this beloved favorite—and send a letter to your childhood self in just Six Words. Here’s how and when to join in:

Sesame Street Muppets GroupSesame Street (@sesamestreet), the groundbreaking children’s television show known for delivering life lessons and educational basics to generations of youngsters, will issue the Six-Word challenge: “Six-Word Letter to My 3-Year-Old Self.” No matter who is your favorite— Elmo or Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Cookie Monster, the Count or Grover—take a blast to the past with the entire Sesame Street gang!

• People who tweet during the Six-Word Letter prompt may be included from our new book, Six Words of Advice from Writers Famous & Obscure, coming out in 2015 from St. Martin’s Press. You must tweet on June 5 between 1-2:30pm EDT, with the hashtag #sixwordletter and follow @sixwords.
• Each day during the festival, we’ll be giving away six Six-Word Memoir books at random times throughout the festival. All you have to do is tweet with the hashtags we’re using during each of the prompts, as well as follow @sixwords.
