With Earth Day coming up this Sunday, I wanted to remind everyone to share their Six Words for the Planet, a new Six-Word section from SMITH, a collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency. Share your six words to celebrate the environment, your concerns and talk about what your own “green life” means to you. Your Six-Words for the Planet will be considered for inclusion on the EPA’s own site, as well as for a future book, calendar and more.

Here are a few of my personal favorites (and are not a reflection the opinion of the EPA).

Earth’s the only mother I’ve known.
Trees: hug now or burn later.
The renewed Spring: Nature’s plastic surgeon.
Earth is your mom. Be nice.
North, east, south, west. I’m lost.
Black, white, young, old: all green.
My oil lamp is on standby.
Too bad dinosaurs didn’t leave memoirs.
Listen to echo, nature’s instant replay.
Good planets are hard to find.
