If you’re a twentysomething who cares about comedy, there’s a good chance that Michael Ian Black was integral to shaping your sense of humor. Black has a way of being a part of projects that develop cult-ish followings, like the anti sketch-comedy show, “The State” and the surreal comedy trio “Stella.” He’s also epitomized ironic, arrogant snark on Vh1’s “I Love the…” series and made out with Bradley Cooper in “Wet Hot American Summer.”
More recently, Black has been writing intimate memoirs and children’s books, performing stand-up, and was among the first batch of comedians to hop on the twitter bandwagon—where he has amassed nearly 2 million followers. He also holds the honor of engaging in the “world’s first twitter war.”
On September 25 at 1:00pm EST, Michael Ian Black will tweet out the prompt, “Six words that mean you’re lying” asking you to reveal how you know when someone is lying to you—or, if you’re feeling truthful, how someone could tell whether you’re lying!
Tweet your responses with #sixlies to @sixwords and MIB himself will hand select (and possibly retweet) some of his favorites. Your #sixlies Six Words™ could even get published in an upcoming Six-Word Memoir book!
The Six-Word Festival on Twitter (presented by sixwordmemoirs.com) runs from September 24-26. Check out the full schedule to see what other events are coming up and for more about the celebrity guest judges.
