Six-Word Sports Stories with ESPN The Magazine

We’re partnering with our pals at ESPN The Magazine for a series of six-word challenges. Each week, The Mag and SMITH will choose a topic—Roger Clemens, Brett Favre, steroids—and ask you to submit six words that describes its essence. Example? Barry Bonds: “Record-setter one year, unemployed the next.” Steroids: “No me, I swear. Roger that.” Our friends at Disney say they’ll be prizes, too.

First challenge: Can you sum up Tiger Woods in just six words? ESPN Mag editor Scott DeSimon reports that Mike in Gahanna, Ohio is an early front-runner with, “Work? Golf. Wife? Hottie. Life? Perfect.”

Let the games begin.
